Many families rely on diesel fuel to power their heaters, but with the country’s ongoing economic crisis and recent war, the cost of heating fuel has skyrocketed, leaving countless households unable to afford basic warmth. For impoverished families, winter becomes a season of extreme hardship and suffering, forcing them to endure the cold or resort to unsafe heating practices.

Every winter, WAM steps in to provide critical support during these challenging months. Through our winterization project, we supply heating fuel to vulnerable families across Lebanon, ensuring they have a safe and reliable way to heat their homes. Partnering with local distributors and community leaders, we identify those in greatest need, including elderly individuals, families with very young children, displaced families, and disabled people. Each fuel delivery not only brings warmth to their homes but also a renewed sense of hope and dignity during the most trying times of the year.
