WAM has one employee. The work is carried out through partner organizations and churches in the field, which is why almost four fifths of everything spent leaves as grants to them.

The board keeps a written conflict of interest policy, a whistleblower policy, and a document retention and destruction policy. Conflicts are raised at every meeting, and a director with one abstains.
The full board reads and votes to approve the Form 990 before it is filed.
Patrick Bouchebel and Dr. Jean Bouchebel are father and son, and the board discloses that relationship in the Form 990 rather than leaving a reader to find it.
Officer compensation is set by the board against comparable organizations, and any officer whose own compensation is under discussion takes no part in that decision.
