URGENT APPEAL FOR AID

WAM is writing to you today with an urgent appeal for your prayers and support.

As many of you know, the Israel-Hamas/Hezbollah war has greatly impacted the region, and expansion of the conflict further into Lebanon appears imminent.

With the drums of war escalating, mass evacuations of most foreigners underway, and the arrival of seven destroyers and one aircraft carrier of the US military to the Lebanese shores, fear among the innocent in Lebanon who are caught in the crossfires runs rampant.

WAM seeks to prepare now before prices escalate, supplies diminish, and distribution becomes more difficult should full-scale war break out. We have already secured donated medicines from the US to arrive later this month, as well as hygiene kits. However, we need additional funds to procure necessary emergency supplies, such as: baby formula, diapers, cleaning supplies, blankets, mattresses, and pillows.

As we seek to prepare, we remember what scripture declares over and over, that the Lord is our deliverer, He is our help in times of need. So, we seek His wisdom and grace to help and add our voices together with the Psalmist:

Glory in His holy name;

Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.

Seek the Lord and His strength;

Seek His face continually.
Psalm 105:3-4
