WAM’s 2024 Summer Kids Camps: Learning, Growing, and Healing in Lebanon
This summer, WAM hosted seven Kids Camps in Lebanon. These camps were a resounding success, bringing joy, learning, and unforgettable experiences to 420 children impacted by ongoing crises such as war, displacement, loss, extreme poverty, persecution, oppression, and injustice.
The highlight of this year’s camp was undoubtedly the fusion of our camps with our solar-powered hydroponic agriculture project. The children were not only fascinated by the technology but also actively participated in the process, learning valuable lessons about sustainable and climate-friendly food production.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our generous donors. Your support made it possible for these children to explore new horizons and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge agricultural practices. You provided an opportunity for children coming from hard places to experience the love of Christ, the source of joy in all things. The smiles on their faces and the excitement in their eyes were a testament to the impact of your contributions.
Thank you for caring about these children and for helping us create a brighter, more sustainable future for them. Your kindness and generosity have truly made a difference.
