Standing with the church
WAM was founded by a Christian family and works alongside local congregations across Christian traditions. Catholic, Orthodox, Maronite, mainline and evangelical congregations are all partners in this work.
Aid is given on the basis of need. WAM serves all populations regardless of faith. That is not a caveat on the ministry; it is part of it.
Protection
Why this page says less than you expect
In several of the countries where WAM works, publishing the name of a congregation, a pastor or a town is enough to put people at risk. So this page names none of them.
WAM is adopting a published clearance standard, so that every story, photograph and church reference carries a status before anyone outside the organization sees it. Where this page is vague, that is a decision and not an oversight.

A congregation here partners with a congregation there. It has its own page, and the detail is sent on request rather than published.
Witness As Ministry, Dovetail Global Aid and Wamhiba all operate under WAM Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization and the legal recipient of all funds. One entity, one EIN, one IRS determination. A gift made under any of the three names is a gift to WAM Inc.
