The programme
HEALING TRAUMA
“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” ― Fred Rogers
Priests, pastors, doctors, nurses, youth workers, aid workers, teachers, first responders, and others throughout Lebanon who engage with traumatized populations require and deserve specialized training to help them process and recover from the vital work they do.

- Field Traumatology
WAM trains camp counselors, early childhood educators, and daycare workers in how to help traumatized children. We utilize a trauma-sensitive curriculum in our healing camps for children.
